こちらもイラストコンテスト用に描き上げたオリジナル作品です。

 

【黒騎士レイヴン】

 

コンセプトとして、【黒】を入れたかったので、黒→カラス→レイヴン→レイヴンクロウ…

のように発展していきました。

そのため、デザインはカラスの羽やツメなどをイメージしています。

レイヴンクロウはハリーポッターの寮の名前ですね。

 

正義の騎士ではなく、死体や死にかけの獲物を狙う死の鳥のごとく、弱きを狩るような不気味なキャラクターにしたかったので、戦場で煙の中からうっすらと現れるようなシーンを描いてみました。

Another work I did for an illustration contest.

 

Raven the Black.

 

First of all, I needed to use the word, "Black" in the concept stage.

From the word, black, the phrase "Raven Claw" came to my mind, so I decided to design the character from those 3 words, "black," "raven," and "claw."

 

I wanted to make this character an evil one, where he hunts down the weak and the dying. So I composed the scene where he suddenly appears from the smoke and the dust that fill the air of the battle scene.
